EXPERIENCE IN LIFE

Loosing father at the age of 8 with unmarried 3 sisters in a joint family, the life started like pilot less ship. Proper guidance of my teachers and accepting Swami Vivekananda as my idol proceeded without looking back. To do well is all examination was only promise. During 2 years in FM College, Balsore with meagre National Scholarship stayed in Room No 1 (Many times locked outsides by friends) read and achieved something in life. Entering to SCB medical College, Cuttack in 1970. The same life style continued. Hardship made me more strong and straight forwardness, more social and experienced.

After joining state government job arranged marriage for 2 sisters and an orphan maid servant. Leaned to give not to take.

Due to my closeness and affection my undergraduates and P.G. students helped me when my wife was in postpartum shock in 1986, Cardiac operation in 2001 and myxoedema coma in 2002. I love my students as my children.

Baba took me to HIS lotus feet when I was at difficulties. I have surrendered totally to HIM and vow to serve the society till my end.

My life has many downs than ups as I did not adjust with present service pattern. But I am happy with my work and society. Sincerity and truthfulness has made me to cross many tides of life.

Wife

Dr. Pusparani Das, daughter of Late Benudhar Das, Retired Central Excise Superintendent, did her schooling in the remote village of Amrutamanohi, A true daughter of a sincere and non-corrupt officer led a simple life. After passing from Khalikote College did her Graduation from M.K.C.G. Medical College and Postgraduation from V.S.S. Medical College. Entered into State Government job in 1983 and joined into MES in 1993.

Besides an able wife, caring mother of three daughter maintained sincerity in her profession in spite of failing health. Devoted most of her leisure time reading holy books and prayer. Surrendered her life to SATHYASAI BABA.

Children

Eldest daughter Subhashree having a brilliant academic carrier graduated from GM College , Zoology (Hons). Did MSc in IT and completed MBA (HR) from BPUT University.

The second daughter Swatishree a topper in HSC Examiantion after BE (Electronic) from UCE is perusing MBA (Marketing) and Finance) at RCM, Bhubaneswar

The youngest daughter is doing BE (Computer Science) at PKACE, Bargarh.

The three daughter have simple living , spiritual mind and are adjustive behavior.

Eldest Brother in Law is retired CE, WESCO, Settled at Cuttack.

The second brother in law is Manager, UBI, Kharagpur

The 3^rd brother in law is Staying at Amrutamanohi, taking care of  paternal properties and Jagganath Temple built by father in law.

The youngest one is serving as Mining Officer Shahdhol.

The eldest cobrother in law is Retied Professor of Physiology, S.C.B. Medical College, Cuttack and 2^nd Co-brother in law is a teacher at Steel Plant School, Rourkela.

The oldest nephew is settled in UK and serving as Project Officer under WHO Research of Leprosy Vaccine at Priest working in Germany. The end one is E.E in NTPC, Talcher and 3^rd one is Chief Manager Bharat Gas Ltd, Kolkata. The niece is an Oncologist at Appolo Hospital, Bilaspur.

�             Hardships in life are like passing clouds.

�             Duty is God.

�             Discipline, punctuality, love for all are good virtues.

�             Honesty, frankness, kindness will be rewarded one day.

�             Love all and serve all in this noble profession.

�             Faith in God is the only string which will strengthen when in despair.

�             Always follow the ‘Hippocrates Oath” after entering this profession.

�             A ceiling of desire will make a man happy.

IDEAS

�             Constructive and positive attitude in all walks either in patient case, junior training or working atmosphere.

�             Talking against anybody physical or mental harm to anybody is a self destructing attitude. Avoid it.
